Durga Ashtakam

Eight verses offering salutations to goddess durga. the phlashruti says reciting this hymn fulfills all desires and in the end one attains durga Loka (abode of goddess durga) by chanting this with devotion.

Though the author and source are unknown, the epithets used to praise the goddess are wonferful. Names like yogamaya, yoganidra etc are used, this hymn primarily eulogizes the goddess durga who appeared as the sister of Lord Krishna.
